RN/Registered Nurse - Surgery (6:30a - 3:00p) | Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Hurst-Euless-Bedford | Bedford, TX

Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Hurst-Euless-Bedford is currently in search of an Operating Room Registered Nurse to help meet the growing needs of our patients (Job ID#14121).

As a Nurse in our 8 Suite Surgery Department you will have the opportunity to advance your nursing skills by providing care to patients' pre, and intra operative for all surgical procedures with a strong team focus approach to delivery of care. Additional responsibilities include patient assessment, creating and maintaining a sterile and safe surgical environment, pre and post-operative, monitoring the patient's physical and emotional well-being and coordinating patient care throughout the surgical care continuum.

The peri-operative staff nurse recognizes their role and participates as a member of the interdisciplinary team working towards attaining Texas Health Resources' mission, vision, and goal of meeting patients' physical, emotional, and spiritual needs in a dignified manner.

Hours/Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:30 am - 3:00 pm Call schedule required to include weekends

Basic Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current Texas RN License
  • 2-3 years OR experience
  • BCLS or upon hire
  • Critical thinking, and strong Communication Skills
  • Well rounded clinical skills in multiple services

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 4 years OR experience
