Department: Surgery
Salary: DOE
Hours: Full time, days. (10 hour shifts).
Location: Hospital Main Campus
There are two openings for this position.
Responsible to provide direct clinical/technical care, staff education
and clinical leadership. Support program development and organizational
mission and goals. Apply the knowledge and skill necessary to provide
appropriate interactions with staff, patients and families of all ages.
Assist with hiring, training and work performance evaluations of
surgical technicians; responsible for making daily assignments, and
maintaining monthly and on-call schedules.
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of a Surgical Tech program, military tech training
program, or hospital program
- BLS certification for Healthcare Providers
- A minimum of three (3) years clinical experience using Surgical
Tech skills
Preferred: Leadership/management experience
